But I do know it will be interesting, challenging and, not least, a chance to learn. No two days are the same, and every day has something new about it. I have been through a lot of companies in my career, but I have never had it as challenging, as varied and as interesting as here at Netpower.

Two things make Netpower an interesting place for me to work. One is the range of customers and projects. It is always a pleasure to get to know a new customer, learn how their world works and see things from a new perspective. That is where much of the learning and the engagement comes from. The other is the people. Our field changes constantly, and nobody navigates it alone. That is why we at Netpower put a lot of focus on building teams, with skilled and dedicated colleagues who care about what they do. New challenges to get your teeth into, and good people to solve them with. That makes for a good working day.

The best thing about working at Netpower is that I get to influence things while constantly learning and developing. With a flat structure and a lot of trust, I can take responsibility and work closely with both customers and colleagues to create good solutions. The pace is high and things change quickly, which I think makes the working day both interesting and motivating. By saying yes to new challenges I have had the chance to try several roles, first as Project Manager and now as Product Manager.

I have worked at Netpower for more than 20 years, and what keeps me here is the variety. No two days are the same – I get to work on interesting projects and constantly get to grips with new domains and business areas. I really enjoy helping customers solve concrete problems and finding the best solutions together with good colleagues. With a lot of freedom and trust I get to take responsibility, challenge myself and help shape my own working day – and I think that is an important reason why I am still learning something new and still here after so many years.

Working at Netpower has been a steep but very rewarding learning curve, where I am constantly learning something new. As my first job in IT it has been especially motivating to be in a company where what I say is actually heard, and where I can make a difference. Netpower is a unique company and I am very happy here. With a background as a QHSE Engineer, QHSE Coordinator and Environmental Advisor in the oil industry, Netpower has given me the chance both to learn more about IT systems and to provide HSEQ (health, safety, environment and quality) advice to the company’s many and varied customers across different industries. I have also been part of developing Certain QMS, Netpower’s quality management system.
