How the data centre is set up
Everything is handled by our own specialists, following routines that are written down and actually followed.
Data stored in Norway
All data is stored in Netpower’s own data centres in Norway, with the primary site in Stavanger, under Norwegian and European law. You always know where your data sits, and the route to it is short.
Round-the-clock monitoring
Every environment we run is monitored 24 hours a day. Security patches go on continuously, maintenance runs weekly, and incidents are handled as they happen.
Backups you get back
Daily automated copies, offsite and offline storage, and tape backup with long-term archiving where it is required. Restores are tested regularly.
Built for power cuts
Redundancy in both power supply and cooling. If the power fails, generators and battery banks take over immediately and operations continue.
Scaling without interruption
We own the environment, so we can add capacity quickly. The same steady performance whether you have a hundred users or a hundred thousand.

Our own data centre in Stavanger
We own the hardware, the network and the building. Netpower runs two sites with off-site backup: our own data centre in Stavanger, backed up to a separate secondary site. Nothing sits between you and the people running your systems, and there is no doubt about where your data lives.

ISO 27001 and GDPR
