About us
Netpower IT Group consists of three companies: Netpower Business Solutions, Netpower WEB Solutions and Netpower IT Solutions. We develop our own software products, deliver custom software and run IT operations for public and private sector organisations. Netpower was founded in Stavanger in 1995.

Develops and delivers software products for quality management, HSE, chemical management, project management and mass management.

Delivers hosting, IT operations, cloud solutions, cybersecurity and support from our own data centre.
The companies operate as independent units, each with its own management and its own profit responsibility. They share an owner, premises, a data centre and information security routines. Customers can buy software products, development and operations from the same group.

Ownership
Privately owned since 2006
Netpower IT Group is privately owned. Erlend Bruvik bought Netpower in 2006 and is its owner and Chairman of the Board. He has run IT businesses since 1995.
The group is funded by its own operations and has no external investors. Profits are reinvested in product development, expertise and infrastructure.

Our own data centre
Netpower has run servers for customers since 1995. The data centre is located at our head office in Stavanger, with backups at a separate secondary site. Customer data in our own data centres is stored in Norway.
ISO/IEC 27001 · ISO 9001 · GDPR
Certified
Netpower Business Solutions AS and Netpower IT Solutions AS are certified to ISO/IEC 27001. Netpower IT Solutions AS is also certified to ISO 9001. The companies process personal data in line with the GDPR.

We deliver to organisations in healthcare, energy, transport, public administration, research and industry.
Many of our customer relationships have lasted for years, with ongoing management and further development of the solutions we have delivered.
Our customers include
- Oslo universitetssykehus, which uses Certain QMS for document management.
- DSB and Aker Solutions ASA, which use Certain QMS.
- Kolumbus, which has Netpower as its development partner for the Kolumbus app.
- Stiftelsen Norsk Mat, which has Netpower as the supplier of the Nyt Norge, KSL, Lokalmat and Spesialitet portals.
- Tampnet, which uses Certain QMS and buys IT operations from Netpower.

Our head office and data centre are at Stokkamyrveien 13, 4313 Sandnes, Norway. We also have an office in Oslo and development teams in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and Dhaka, Bangladesh.
