Flexible hosting models

Our software products can be run by us or in your own environment, with hosting models adapted to your organisation’s needs and requirements.

Four hosting models

No two organisations are alike, which is why our software products can be delivered with different operating models to suit your needs and security level. Capacity and storage can be expanded as you go, so the solution can grow with your organisation.

All hosting agreements include an SLA (Service Level Agreement), which sets clear terms for availability and response times.

Standard hosting

Secure and ready to use. Our most popular model.

Dedicated hosting

More control and customisation with dedicated servers and databases.

Hybrid and on-premises

Maximum flexibility on your own platform or in a hybrid solution.

Isolated networks

For organisations with strict security requirements, with no internet exposure.

Standard hosting – secure and ready to use

This is our most popular model and suits most organisations. We run the product in a professional environment built for high security, stability and scalability.

With standard hosting, the product runs in a shared environment, but customer data is always fully separated. The model offers the same level of security as our other options, within a cost-effective framework.

We take responsibility for:

  • Continuous monitoring of system performance and availability
  • Security updates and maintenance of the infrastructure
  • Regular backups and restore testing, so data can be recovered when needed
  • Upgrading and adapting the environment so the system keeps pace with your organisation’s development

Dedicated hosting – more control and customisation

For organisations with higher requirements for performance, customisation or their own internal policies, the product can run on dedicated servers and databases. A dedicated environment gives greater control and freedom to adapt operations to your organisation’s needs.

Dedicated hosting is often chosen by larger organisations, customers with complex integrations or organisations with particular needs for control and customisation.

We take responsibility for:

  • Setting up dedicated resources – servers, databases and networks configured specifically for your organisation
  • Adapting the operating environment in line with internal requirements or industry-specific standards
  • Monitoring and optimisation to ensure stable performance and availability
  • Isolated resources that make it easier to adapt the solution to your own processes and ways of working

Hybrid and on-premises – maximum flexibility

Some organisations want to run our products on their own operating platform, either on-premises or in a hybrid solution. We offer both private and hybrid cloud, as well as pure on-premises installations.

Hybrid and on-premises lets your organisation keep control of its own platform, while we help with operations, security and updates.

We take responsibility for:

  • Designing and setting up the operating environment based on the customer’s platform or a combination of our infrastructure and theirs
  • Integration and interaction between local systems and cloud applications
  • Maintenance and updates carried out by our specialists, even when the product runs in the customer’s own environment
  • Access management and security tailored to your organisation’s requirements and internal policies

Hosting in isolated networks – for organisations with strict security requirements

Some industries and sectors are subject to very strict security requirements, such as oil and gas, defence, the prison service and critical infrastructure. For these needs, our products can be delivered with no internet exposure, as local installations in isolated networks.

This model gives maximum control to organisations that need full oversight of who has access to their data and systems.

We take responsibility for:

  • Setting up and operating isolated environments without internet access
  • Strict access controls and procedures for who can work in the environment
  • Security screening of operations staff before they are given access to customer systems
  • Updates and maintenance through dedicated, controlled processes

Private cloud vs. public cloud

When one of our products runs in Netpower’s data centre, it runs in our private cloud, fully operated and monitored by our own specialists.

We can also manage products hosted on public cloud services such as Azure, Google Cloud or AWS. This means the operating model can be adapted to your organisation’s existing infrastructure and requirements.
