Netpower Business Solutions

Project Manager

Netpower is looking for a project manager with a strong understanding of business and technology for complex digital deliveries and software projects.

Netpower employee

About the role

Our customers are asking for more extensions, integrations and new functionality in our software products, so we are now looking for a project manager with strong business understanding, digital skills and the drive to get things done.

We develop comprehensive professional and business systems for large organisations with complex work processes and high demands for quality, security and risk management. These are solutions that must work in demanding environments, be used by many people and be developed further over time.

This is a newly created position that works closely with our customers and with the product and delivery teams. You will understand the customer’s business, ask good questions and turn needs into clear requirements, priorities and workable solutions. You will be responsible for progress, structure and quality throughout the delivery.

You will work across our product portfolio of professional systems for quality management, chemical management, physical working environment and systematic HSE, in industries such as oil and gas, power, manufacturing, healthcare, research and higher education.

What you will work on

Among other things, you will:

  • Lead workshops, needs assessments and process mapping with customers.
  • Get to know complex organisations, work processes and specialist fields.
  • Turn needs into clear functional requirements and priorities.
  • Work closely with customers, developers and product teams.
  • Use data and insight as the basis for decisions and improvements.
  • Spot opportunities to use BI, AI and automation.
  • Ensure progress, structure and quality in the deliveries.
  • Challenge both the customer and the team when needed.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who quickly understands complex problems and can bring structure to deliveries with many needs, dependencies and stakeholders. You have:

  • Experience from project management or other key roles in digital deliveries.
  • Strong business understanding and a good understanding of technology.
  • The ability to turn needs into clear requirements and practical solutions.
  • An understanding of how data, BI, AI and automation can be used in organisations.
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English.

You are independent, structured and confident with both customers and technical specialists. You ask good questions, think critically and take responsibility for moving the work forward.

Experience with quality, HSE, physical working environment factors, risk management or improvement work is an advantage, but not a requirement.

What we offer

  • A key role in large and demanding digital deliveries.
  • Work across products, customers and specialist fields.
  • Real influence on how needs are understood and solved.
  • Close collaboration with skilled colleagues in product, technology and delivery.
  • Short decision paths and room to challenge established solutions.
  • Good opportunities for professional development and your own training budget.
  • A social and informal working environment in Stavanger.

Apply for the position

Send us your CV or LinkedIn profile via the FINN ad, and briefly answer: Tell us about a complex digital delivery you have been responsible for. What was your role, and what was the result? How do you use AI and other digital tools in your day-to-day work?

Feel free to use AI when you write your application, but we still want to hear your voice and understand how you think. Worn-out phrases about “the intersection of technology and business” do not fly with us. Tell us instead, in concrete terms, what you have done, how you worked and what you achieved.

We review candidates on a rolling basis. The position requires you to work from our office in Stavanger and to be fluent in Norwegian and English, both spoken and written.
